Crispy, tangy, and healthy air fryer fried pickles that make the perfect snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • Dill pickles (or any type of pickle)
  • Cornmeal
  • Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • Flour
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the breading stations: In one bowl, place flour seasoned with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. In a second bowl, beat the egg until fully combined. In a third bowl, mix cornmeal and panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Coat each pickle slice with seasoned flour, dip in the egg, then coat with cornmeal and panko mixture.
  4. Arrange the coated pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with cooking spray.
  5. Air fry for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

For added flavor, use thicker pickle slices and experiment with different seasonings.
