  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 10 small flour tortillas
  • Vegetable oil for frying (Approximately 1 inch deep)
  • Salsa, guacamole, chopped cilantro (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Prepare the filling by mixing chicken, cheddar, cream cheese, sour cream, spices, salt, and pepper.
  3. Warm the tortillas to prevent cracking.
  4. Assemble the taquitos with filling and roll tightly.
  5. Heat the oil in a skillet.
  6. Fry the taquitos until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
  8. Serve garnished with cilantro and accompanied by salsa and guacamole.

Notes
