Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat, about 1/2 inch deep.
  2. Cut the chicken breasts into strips, aiming for 1 inch wide.
  3. Create a dredging station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  4. Dredge each chicken strip first in flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry the chicken strips in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes on each side.
  6. Drain the cooked tenders on a plate lined with paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use almond flour or gluten-free panko instead of regular flour and breadcrumbs. Ensure oil is hot before frying for best results.
