Delicious crispy tofu slathered in a tangy, spicy gochujang sauce, served with fresh lettuce wraps and rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 block Firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • Rice (for serving)
  • Lettuce (for wraps)
  • Steamed vegetables (for serving)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Scallions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tofu by pressing it to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
  2. Create the marinade by mixing gochujang, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  3. Marinate the tofu cubes in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Bake the marinated tofu for 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  6. Serve the crispy tofu over rice, in lettuce wraps, or with steamed vegetables.
  7. Add sesame seeds and chopped scallions for garnish before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results. Use any extra marinade as a dressing for salads.
