Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pesto sauce
  • 8 oz pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken and let it melt slightly.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta with the pesto sauce until well coated.
  6. Serve the chicken on top of the pesto pasta, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.

Notes
