Delightful crispy sourdough crackers that are simple to make and perfect for pairing with cheese and dips.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: herbs and spices for seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sourdough starter, flour, and salt in a mixing bowl and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until it’s about 1/8 inch thick.
  4. Cut the rolled-out dough into desired shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Season with your favorite herbs or spices if desired.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet before serving.

Notes

Store leftover crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. If they soften, pop them back in the oven for a few minutes to regain their crunch.
