A delightful and crunchy plant-based protein that elevates any meal with its golden exterior and tender inside, infused with sesame oil and soy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut into roughly 1-inch cubes.
  2. Toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Heat the sesame oil in a pan over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Add the tofu cubes to the pan and cook until golden and crispy on all sides, about 10 minutes.
  5. Drizzle the tofu with soy sauce and toss gently to coat.
  6. Serve the crispy tofu hot as a delightful protein addition to your meal.

Notes

Leftover tofu can be refrigerated for up to 3 days. Reheat to crisp it up again. Experiment with spices in the cornstarch for added flavor.
