A delightful Cuban sandwich filled with layers of savory meats, melted cheese, and tangy pickles, all nestled in crispy Cuban bread.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cuban bread rolls
  • 8 oz roast pork, sliced
  • 4 oz ham, sliced
  • 4 oz Swiss cheese, sliced
  • 4 dill pickles, sliced
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or sandwich press.
  2. Butter the outside of the Cuban bread.
  3. Layer the meats and cheese on the bread.
  4. Add pickles and mustard.
  5. Close the sandwich securely.
  6. Grill until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

Pair with crispy plantain chips or a side salad. Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated for optimal results.
