  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the milk and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  7. Line a cupcake tray with liners and fill each halfway with the batter.
  8. Place a spoonful of cookie dough in the center of each liner, then top with remaining batter.
  9. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until edges are set and centers are still soft.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
