  • 1 can Dr Pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Buns for serving

Instructions

  1. Season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the seasoned pork into the slow cooker.
  3. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, Dr Pepper, and barbecue sauce.
  4. Cook on low for about 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  5. Shred the pork in the slow cooker using two forks.
