A simple and satisfying black pepper chicken dish that’s perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in a bowl with soy sauce, black pepper, and salt for 15 minutes.
  2. Coat the marinated chicken with cornstarch until fully coated.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in vegetable oil over medium heat until fragrant.
  4. Cook the coated chicken in the pan until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Simmer in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions, alongside rice or vegetables.

Notes
