A creamy, garlicky hummus that’s simple to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas (15 oz)
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Paprika for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
  2. Combine ingredients in a food processor.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  5. Serve and garnish with olive oil and paprika.

Notes

For a smoother hummus, consider removing the skins from the chickpeas before blending.
