A delightful twist on the classic tres leches cake, infused with vibrant mango flavor, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of mango puree
  • Fresh mango slices for garnish
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the cake mix package instructions. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, and milk until smooth.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake according to the box instructions. Cool completely.
  3. In a bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and mango puree. Mix well.
  4. Poke holes in the cooled cake and pour the milk mixture over it, allowing it to soak.
  5. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then spread it over the soaked cake.
  6. Garnish with fresh mango slices.
  7. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Use ripe mangoes for the best flavor. For extra tropical taste, infuse the whipped cream with coconut extract.
