A delightful twist on the classic puppy chow, combining pistachio flavor and white chocolate for a sweet snack.

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup pistachio pudding mix (dry)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios (optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure Your Chex Cereal: In a large bowl, measure out the Chex cereal and set aside.
  2. Melt the Chocolate Mixture: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and white chocolate chips together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Combine the Pudding Mix: Stir in the pistachio pudding mix until well combined.
  4. Coat the Chex Cereal: Pour the mixture over the Chex cereal and gently toss until the cereal is evenly coated.
  5. Powder Sugar Coating: In a large plastic bag, add the powdered sugar. Add the chocolate-coated cereal to the bag, seal it, and shake until coated.
  6. Cool the Puppy Chow: Spread it on a baking sheet to cool for a few minutes.
  7. Optional Garnish: Sprinkle chopped pistachios on top for added crunch if desired.
