  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  2. Mix the melted butter and sugar until combined, creating a sweet and buttery base.
  3. Add the sourdough discard, eggs, and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture, stirring until smooth and well mixed.
  4. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl, ensuring everything is evenly distributed.
