A quick and healthy snack made with chocolate and orange, these no-bake energy bites are perfect for on-the-go moments.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Gather and combine key ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of rolled oats, 1/2 cup of almond butter, and 1/4 cup of honey or maple syrup.
  2. Infuse with flavor: Add in the zest of 1 orange and pour in 1 tablespoon of orange juice, mixing everything until well combined.
  3. Fold in the dark chocolate chips and a pinch of salt.
  4. Roll into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
