Indulge in these heavenly puff pastries filled with creamy goat cheese, fresh figs, and a hint of honey, perfect for gatherings or as a delicious dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz Goat Cheese, softened
  • 6 Fresh Figs, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Fresh Thyme, chopped
  • 1 Egg, beaten with 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into 4 equal squares.
  4. Mix the goat cheese, honey, and thyme in a bowl until well combined.
  5. Assemble by placing a spoonful of the cheese mixture on each square and top with figs.
  6. Fold the corners over the filling to create a pocket, sealing the edges with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Serve with extra honey or a fresh arugula salad dressed with balsamic vinaigrette. Can be prepared in advance and refrigerated before baking.
