Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Butter for cooking

Instructions

  1. Whisk together wet ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in another bowl until well combined.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over low heat and melt a small pat of butter.
  5. Pour a small amount of batter into the skillet.
  6. Cover and cook for about 4 minutes until bubbles form on the surface.
  7. Flip and cook for an additional 4 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve with maple syrup or your favorite toppings.

Notes

For thicker pancakes, consider using a ring mold. Don’t rush the cooking process; low heat ensures the best rise.
