Tender roast beef, rich provolone cheese, and flaky biscuit dough come together for a comforting, handheld delight.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup caramelized onions
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven as per biscuit package instructions.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, heat the beef broth and whisk in the Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Open the refrigerated biscuit dough and prepare it according to the package directions.
  4. Place a slice of roast beef and a spoonful of caramelized onions on each biscuit.
  5. Top each biscuit with a handful of shredded provolone cheese.
  6. Seal the biscuits by folding the dough over the filling and pinching the edges.
  7. Place the sealed biscuits on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve alongside warm beef broth for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider using homemade beef broth. You can also experiment with different cheeses or add jalapeños for heat.
