  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Butter for frying
  • Maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut bread into sticks, cutting each slice into three equal sticks.
  2. Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Dip each bread stick into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter until sizzling.
  5. Cook the coated bread sticks in the skillet until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Serve warm sticks immediately, drizzled with maple syrup.

Notes

For a heartier stick, use thick bread like Texas toast or brioche. Make sure your skillet is hot enough for a nice golden crust.
