  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sweetener (e.g., honey, maple syrup, or a sugar substitute)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the protein powder, almond flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the sweetener, applesauce, almond butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; fold in the chocolate chips if using.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
