Tender, juicy steak coated in fragrant garlic butter sauce, paired with sautéed zucchini. A quick and flavorful weeknight dinner ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 medium zucchini, cut into half-moons
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare your steak bites. Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels and season them generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Sauté the steak bites. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites to the hot skillet in a single layer. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Once perfectly seared, remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Create the garlic butter base. In the same skillet, add the butter. Once it melts and begins to foam, toss in the minced garlic, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Sauté the zucchini. Add the zucchini to the skillet. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the zucchini becomes tender-crisp and beautifully colorful.
  5. Combine steak with garlic zucchini. Return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss everything together, ensuring each component gets lovingly coated with the delicious garlic butter.
  6. Heat through. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the steak to heat through while mingling with the buttery garlic flavor.
  7. Garnish and serve. For an extra touch, garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately for a steamy, flavorful dinner.

Notes
