A delicious meal that combines tender steak, rich garlic butter, and sweet caramelized onions, all served over fluffy rice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 tablespoons garlic (minced)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 onions (sliced)
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the steak and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  3. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and the sliced onions. Cook them over medium heat until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Slice the steak against the grain.
  6. Serve the sliced steak over rice, topped with caramelized onions and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

This dish pairs well with a side salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal. Choose a well-marbled steak for a juicier dish and adjust garlic to your taste.
