Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces ribeye steaks (8 oz each, about 1-inch thick)
  • To taste salt
  • To taste pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steaks evenly with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
  4. Flip the steaks and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic to the skillet.
  5. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Add the heavy cream to the skillet and whisk continuously.
  7. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and whisk until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.

  9. Garnish with the chopped parsley.

Notes

Make sure the skillet is hot before adding the steaks for the best sear. Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness.
