Delightful gingerbread latte mousse domes with a chocolate glaze, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup gingerbread syrup
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate (for glaze or shell)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, combine the gingerbread syrup, cool brewed coffee, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, vanilla extract, and granulated sugar. Stir until blended.
  3. Gently fold the coffee mixture into the whipped cream until well combined.
  4. Spoon the mousse mixture into dome-shaped silicone molds and smooth the tops with a spatula.
  5. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until the mousse is set.
  6. Melt the chocolate for the glaze in a microwave or over a double boiler, then cool slightly.
  7. Carefully remove the mousse domes from the molds and dip the tops into the melted chocolate glaze.
  8. Allow the chocolate glaze to set on a wire rack before serving.
  9. Serve chilled, garnished with nutmeg or a cinnamon stick.

Notes

These mousse domes can also be paired with coffee or tea for a perfect experience.
