A flavorful and tender grilled chicken recipe marinated in balsamic vinegar, garlic, and herbs, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Create the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl and let the chicken soak in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the Grill: While the chicken marinates, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on the grill. Grill for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  5. Rest the Chicken: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it sit for a few minutes.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Slice the grilled chicken and serve it hot, garnished with fresh basil.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate the chicken longer (up to 2 hours). If fresh basil is unavailable, consider substituting with parsley or feta cheese.
