Juicy, tender chicken marinated in a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce and grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and rice vinegar to create a fragrant marinade.
  2. Marinate the chicken in a resealable plastic bag with the marinade for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. Can substitute chicken with salmon or tofu.
