Delicious ground beef hand pies with flaky crusts, perfect for snacks or meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Sauté the ground beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and mixed vegetables (if using). Cook for a few more minutes.
  4. Roll out the pie crusts on a lightly floured surface and cut into circles, approximately 5-6 inches in diameter.
  5. Take a spoonful of beef filling and place it in the center of each dough circle.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape. Crimp the edges to seal.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
