  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet by adding olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Brown the ground beef in the skillet until cooked through, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Prepare the gravy mixture by mixing the brown gravy mix with beef broth in a bowl.
  4. Combine the gravy mixture with the cooked beef in the skillet and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Serve the ground beef and gravy over a bed of creamy mashed potatoes.

Notes

For thicker gravy, allow to simmer longer or add cornstarch. You can substitute turkey or chicken for a lighter version. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
