  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and onions in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
  2. Drain away any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute to create a roux.
  4. Add the beef broth gradually while stirring continuously. Bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Simmer for about 5 minutes to thicken the gravy.
  6. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  7. Serve over warm, fluffy mashed potatoes.

Notes

For a creamier flavor, substitute half of the beef broth with a splash of cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
