Delightful bite-sized sandwiches featuring juicy ham and creamy Havarti cheese nestled within sweet Hawaiian rolls, perfect for gatherings and cozy nights in.

  • 12 slider rolls, preferably Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 pound sliced ham
  • 8 ounces Havarti cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, and poppy seeds until well combined.
  3. Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally.
  4. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and layer the sliced ham evenly over them.
  5. Top the ham with the slices of Havarti cheese.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls back on and brush the butter mixture generously over the tops.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve with tangy pickles, a fresh salad, or crispy potato chips. Pair with chilled lemonade or iced tea. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
