Tender and juicy steak bites marinated in a flavorful garlic balsamic mixture, perfect for a quick dinner or entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  1. Trim the steak: Place steak cubes on a cutting board and trim any excess fat.
  2. Whisk the marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, Dijon mustard, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Marinate the steak: Add steak cubes to the bowl and toss until coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat the skillet: Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  5. Sear the steak bites: Add marinated steak bites in a single layer, cooking undisturbed for 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Rest the steak: Transfer steak bites to a plate; let rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle chopped parsley over the steak bites and serve immediately.

Notes

Make sure your skillet is hot enough before adding the steak for the best sear. You can adapt the marinade with other vinegars or fresh herbs.
