Delicious and nutritious pancakes made with rolled oats, perfect for a healthy breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (or almond milk)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Butter or oil for cooking
  • Syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. Blend the oats until they reach a flour-like consistency.
  2. Add the milk, egg, baking powder, honey, salt, and vanilla extract to the oats and blend until smooth.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add some butter or oil.
  4. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
  5. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with syrup and butter, adding fruits if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, try adding spices or fruits into the batter. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
