A delightful dessert combining creamy cheesecake with the classic appeal of Boston cream pie, perfect for special occasions.

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and bake for 55-60 minutes or until set.
  4. Allow the cheesecake to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  5. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream and milk. Stir in chocolate chips and corn syrup until melted and smooth. Let this cool slightly.
  6. Pour chocolate ganache over the chilled cheesecake before serving.

Notes

Make sure to soften cream cheese for a smooth texture and use a water bath while baking to prevent cracks.
