Hibachi Steak & Shrimp with Noodles

A delicious dish that brings the flavors of Japanese cuisine with tender steak, juicy shrimp, and tasty noodles.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (such as sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz noodles (such as soba or lo mein)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, zucchini, and carrots)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or hibachi grill, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger; sauté for 30 seconds.
  5. Add shrimp and mixed vegetables to the pan, cooking until the shrimp is opaque and the vegetables are tender.
  6. Stir in soy sauce and cooked noodles, mixing well.
  7. Slice the rested steak and serve on top of the noodle mixture.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve hot from the skillet. Customize with different vegetables or substitute steak with chicken if desired.
