A delightful fusion of pizza and pot pies, these high protein pizza pot pies are comforting and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup cooked protein (chicken, ground beef, or turkey)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup diced vegetables (bell peppers, mushrooms, or onions)
  • Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease individual ramekins or a muffin tin with a touch of oil or cooking spray.
  3. Roll out the refrigerated biscuit dough and line the bottom and sides of the greased ramekins.
  4. Mix the cooked protein, pizza sauce, diced vegetables, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
  5. Spoon the filling into the lined ramekins, leaving space for the cheese.
  6. Add shredded cheese generously on top of each pot pie.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Can substitute whole wheat biscuit dough. Feel free to add different proteins and veggies based on preference.
