Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are beautifully golden brown. Once done, remove the chicken and set it aside.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté them until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.
  3. Add the rice into the skillet, stirring it with the onion and garlic for an additional minute.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and stir well. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, cover, and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, cover again, and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish your creation with fresh parsley before serving.
