Ingredients

  • Fresh fruit (e.g., strawberries, apples, mangoes)
  • Sweetener (e.g., honey or sugar)
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Puree the fresh fruit by combining it in a blender until smooth.
  2. Taste the fruit puree and add your sweetener of choice along with a splash of lemon juice, then blend again.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly onto a dehydrator tray or lined baking sheet.
  4. Set your dehydrator to 135°F (57°C) and dehydrate for about 5-10 hours until dry.
  5. Remove the fruit leather from the trays, cut into strips, and roll them up in parchment paper.

Notes

For added texture, consider incorporating chia seeds or shredded coconut. Adjust the sweetness to your preference and ensure the leather is pliable when done.
