A classic recipe for homemade spaghetti and meatballs that brings warmth and comfort with every bite.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • Water for boiling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the meatball mixture: In a bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Shape the meatballs: Form the mixture into meatballs about the size of golf balls.
  3. Simmer the sauce and meatballs: In a skillet, add the marinara sauce and bring it to a simmer. Place the meatballs into the sauce and cook for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Cook the spaghetti: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente, then drain.
  5. Final assembly: Serve the meatballs over spaghetti with extra marinara sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes
