Deliciously sweet and savory honey garlic meatballs that are perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, and season with salt and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about one inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake the meatballs for about 20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and nicely browned.
  5. Prepare the honey garlic sauce by combining honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and minced ginger in a small saucepan, and bring it to a simmer.
  6. Coat the cooked meatballs in the honey garlic sauce until well-coated.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

These meatballs can also be served over rice, in a sub, or as an appetizer. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
