Delicious and crispy chicken bites coated in a sweet and spicy hot honey sauce, perfect for snacking or serving as an appetizer.

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¾ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¾ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons hot honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  2. In a large bowl, take the cut chicken pieces and coat them with avocado oil. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Give everything a good toss until the chicken is nicely coated in the seasoning.
  3. Whisk together the hot honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Dijon mustard until smooth.
  4. Pour the sauce over the seasoned chicken and toss to coat.
  5. Arrange the chicken bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for about 9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  7. Serve immediately, drizzled with extra hot honey if desired.

Notes

These bites make a great appetizer, snack, or main course. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
