A foolproof method for cooking fluffy and perfectly cooked brown rice in the Instant Pot.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 1.25 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the brown rice under cold water.
  2. Combine rinsed rice, water, and salt in the Instant Pot.
  3. Seal the Instant Pot lid and set the valve to sealing.
  4. Cook on manual high pressure for 22 minutes.
  5. Let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes.
  6. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
