A vibrant and hearty pasta salad featuring a delightful blend of cherry tomatoes, black olives, salami, and provolone cheese, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 8 oz pasta (like rotini or penne)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/2 cup salami, diced
  • 1/2 cup provolone cheese, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until it’s perfectly al dente. Once it’s done, drain it and rinse it under cold water to cool it down quickly.
  2. Combine the cooled pasta with the halved cherry tomatoes, sliced black olives, diced salami, provolone cheese, chopped red onion, diced bell pepper, and fresh basil in a large bowl.
  3. Drizzle the Italian dressing over the salad, and give it a good toss to ensure every ingredient is coated.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
