2 cups broccoli florets
2 cups cauliflower florets
1 cup cooked beef sausage, sliced
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking.
Steam the broccoli and cauliflower florets until just tender.
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, then add the sliced beef sausage and cook until browned.
In a large bowl, combine the steamed broccoli, cauliflower, browned sausage, heavy cream, garlic powder, half of the shredded cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese and Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
