A comforting and cheesy dish that combines broccoli, cauliflower, and savory beef sausage, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup cooked beef sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking.
  2. Steam the broccoli and cauliflower florets until just tender.
  3. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, then add the sliced beef sausage and cook until browned.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the steamed broccoli, cauliflower, browned sausage, heavy cream, garlic powder, half of the shredded cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese and Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.

Notes

This dish can be made ahead of time and stored uncooked in the refrigerator.
