Delightful Key Lime Bars that offer a refreshing burst of tart lime flavor with a creamy filling and a buttery graham cracker crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, fresh lime juice, sweetened condensed milk, and lime zest until smooth.
  4. Pour the lime mixture over the crust.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the filling is set.
  6. Let the bars cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Cut into squares, dust with powdered sugar, and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Best with fresh lime juice and don’t skip the chilling time.
