Deliciously marinated Korean BBQ short ribs, grilled to perfection for a flavorful experience.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, water, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and gochujang to create a tantalizing marinade.
  2. Marinate the Short Ribs: Place the short ribs in a dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the Grill: When you’re ready to cook, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the Ribs: Remove the ribs from the marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes per side, until they’re beautifully caramelized.
  5. Let Them Rest: Once off the grill, let the ribs rest for a few minutes for juicy meat.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Before serving, garnish with sliced green onions and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
