Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • Taco shells or tortillas
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Cilantro (for garnish)
  • Sriracha or hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Cook until well combined, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Serve the beef mixture in taco shells or tortillas.
  4. Top with chopped green onions, fresh cilantro, and drizzle with Sriracha for extra heat.

Notes

For enhanced flavors, consider marinating the ground beef in soy sauce and ginger before cooking. Feel free to swap ground beef for turkey or chicken, or use crumbled tofu for a vegetarian version.
