  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Create the lemon butter sauce by melting unsalted butter in a saucepan and stirring in lemon juice, zest, and garlic.
  3. Season the cod fillets in a baking dish with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the lemon butter sauce over the cod.
