Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 lemons (juiced)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Create the marinade by mixing the lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and oregano in a bowl.

  3. Let it absorb the flavors in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Prepare the chicken by removing it from the marinade and discarding the marinade.
  6. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Rest the chicken for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Add a touch of green by garnishing with fresh parsley.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate overnight. Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
