A comforting dish of baked potatoes filled with creamy cheese, sour cream, and succulent steak, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and pierce the potatoes with a fork, then rub with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Place them on the oven rack and bake for about 45 minutes until tender.
  4. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then grill or pan-sear to desired doneness.
  5. Remove the potatoes from the oven, cut in half, and scoop out some flesh.
  6. Mix the scooped potato flesh with sour cream and shredded cheese.
  7. Fill the potato skins with the cheesy mixture.
  8. Arrange sliced steak on top of the filled potatoes.
  9. Return the potatoes to the oven for about 10 minutes to melt the cheese.
  10. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
